Members of the CEL/ELC are involved or coordinate a number of projects on language policy, training, teaching and learning, translation and interpretation, university language policies, and other diverse language arena, which constitutes one of the major ways that partners can play a role in fashioning policy, transforming attitudes, and influencing the language domain across Europe.
The APATCHE project funded by the European Commission under Erasmus+ Key Action 220 (Cooperation partnerships in higher education) brings together 5 CEL/ELC member institutions (Vytautas Magnus University, University of Antwerp, Universidade do Algarve, Università del Sacro Cuore, and University of Warsaw), for a 2-year project (2022-2023). The project’s aim is Adding Plurilingual Approaches to language Teacher Competences in Higher Education, by raising awareness, by disseminating knowledge, by formulating policy recommendations, and by providing online training for HE educational staff.
